Leopard pugmark that I came across yesterday in the jungles of eastern Cambodia. Unfortunately, I didn't get Mr. Spots on camera trap (next time!). But seeing the prints was still cool. This is one of only a handful of few leopards left in Indochina -- a rare find.

That is so neat to find such a crisp track like that. It's a right paw with the front paw being the bigger than the back paw, great, great find.

Good pugmark! Hope you had your plaster of paris with you . . . Are there any clouded leopards left?

Actually clouded leopard don't occur in the dry open forests where I was. But they're still found in the denser semi-evergreen forests to the west. Actually seem to be in fair numbers there.

It's the term I use for a big cat print. But maybe that's just me? :p

Excellent track, what were the chances that the cat would have put its foot down in a perfect spot. Never underestimate luck.
