Thank you everyone for the kind words! It's not a pelican case, it's just the cheapest waterproof case on the market, costs about 10 euros but does the job very well. I'm really bad in estimating, that's why I included the werk picture, I hope it shows the distance of the flashes. Here's an inside pic of the case:

:oops I don't know how I missed seeing that 2nd. picture :Hammer

I was wondering what case you used because your 18-55 kit lens barely protrudes beyond the front of your case. I'm going to build me a Canon DSLR rig with an 18-55 kit lens as well. In that build, I don't want to have the lens protruding beyond the outer face of the case if I can help it. Much like the build of yours. Darn Bears will rip it off too easily and walk away with a good lens.

The case's inside parameters are: 235 × 180 × 155 mm. The 18-55 perfectly fits in it but only with this custom plate-thing, so it needs a little modification. But yeah, not many free places left inside of the box...:)

Looks like a really neat setup, I like it. How did you mount the camera in the housing? Is that some kind of special alumium construction? I'd be interested to know, what you did there :-)

That's right, it's a curved aluminium plate where I can mount the camera with a special screw.

That's a fine photo of the hare. You are off to a good start.

The brown hare is a fine example of what is yet to come from you Kristof. Looking forward to more images from your well built set.

As I wrote before it's not a Pelican case. Here's what I use: https://www.uni-max.hu/vizhatlan-koffer-7-l/d/
