Panasonic GH4 and Lumix 7-14mm f4 lens (14-28 35mm equivalent). Camera: 1/125 sec., F 7, 14mm, ISO 160, PIR sensor. Flash: 3 Nikon SB-28, F8, 1/4 - 1/8, ISO 200, 25,70 and 85 zoom (TRLcam.com built GH4 system with FlashBox). Photoshop used to enhance image and cropped.

I think that I may have mentioned in previous posts that the Panasonic GH4's still images were a bit underwhelming when it comes to capturing detail. I have to eat some crow here and re-evaluate. Seems the GH4 mirrorless micro four thirds camera is actually quite a mighty little camera after all. :oops Oooops!

The cat posed like a professional model. Beautiful!
Did you get other shots while the cat was there? Or did the flash scare it away?

I was wondering about this also, do Bobcats normally not come back to a site once they have had their pics taken, especially at night where the flash might spook them?

I've lit up a bobcat several times and have him return on the next night. To the OP, great shot.

Wow, that's a spectacular photo -- well done!. Looks like you may have misjudged that camera.

I've had spots where the camera has gotten four or five pictures of the same bobcat one right after another and then gotten several more a day or two later. Some are posted here on my blog -- https://forestandfield.blogspot.com/201 ... ge-ii.html
