Here are a few shots from some sets in the South TX Brush Country. Strange storms created unusual conditions- false triggers from rain/hail, standing water around prickly pear, and unbelievable mosquitoes. But got some interesting shots.

D7000 and D3200, 18mm, 1/200, ISO 200, SB-28's with CS triggers, wireless PIR's.

Two different bobcats a few days apart, striking the same pose.

Same spot... A young javelina (collard peccary) trails an adult through the standing water after a strong thunderstorm. Lens fogged from sudden temperature change and moisture.

Young wild hogs feed along the shoreline of a large slough (image cropped for fun)

A juvenile Texas tortoise cruises across a gravel flat (not a camera trap shot, but came across him while checking cams). They're such cool critters!

Nice pics! I love that javelina in the water. That's a very unique setting.

Great shots and interesting Texas tortoise - a new animal for me. Can never get enough cat shots - my favorites.
