My only devices now preventing me from having my system up and working for at least 5 days are the Yongnuo RF-603 II radio triggers for the SB-28 flashes. The NimH 1000mAh batteries are just keeping the RF triggers alive for less than 3 days.

I saw someone on y-tube that had added an external power supply through the trigger cable 2.5 mm stereo output.

I am interested in knowing if this is just plug and play or if some soldering mod has to be done.

I’m thinking the user soldered an internal jumper to the 2.5 connection. But, soldering on extefnsl power supply wires to the boards of those clickers is not complicated. Could even be done via dummy battery in the built-in battery compartment.

You could go 2AA for extended time or 2C for marathon.

Add a day/night board to it so it only turns on at night
