My first steps on the multi flash learning path, now both SB-28's on 1/2 power. A white tail deer and a raccoon dog (i think they are called) picture is taken in south Finland. It was little foggy and the 10 year old D200 show a quite bad noise already at iso 400. I noticed the annoying grass after i had returned home...

A friend is good to have in the darkness of the fall.

I love the way the shadows are cast on the deer. Very nice.

Blessings........Pastorjim

Trim the grass and you'll have really nice photos from that set.

Don't remember ever seeing a photo of a raccoon dog on any of the forums, that's a good catch. Unfortunately, neither of those species are native to Finland. Here in northeastern North America we have real problems with introduced species and Europe is well on its way to be in the same situation.

Nice photos-- would like to see more raccoon dogs -- they're unusual creatures.
