Hi everyone! Would like to share some short stories through my images. Will include a werk image after each picture.

1.) Common bittern
I was about to photograph otters, they used this leak every day. They left me without a single shot, but got a bittern on the first morning.

2.) 'Illusion'
According to trail cameras, golden jackals were here again in my favorite area. I'm writing my thesis about them, too, so badly wanted that jackal shot. Caught them many times with trail cameras, but never with the DSLR system. I placed the camera trap on a really cool pathway, it was so promising. This one was taken back in March when I didn't have those protection hoods on my camera trap and my filter got some raindrops. When it dried, it gave an amazing effect for the whole picture and then this hare came. Very lucky situation, but it's part of the business. :pict

3.) Owls, owls...
I've found a great spot for owls last summer. There were nights when 4 owl species used this rod what I've buried. My main subject was the barn owl, but was so happy to see a short-eared owl on the back of my lcd. Would like to improve the whole project, so this is just the beginning, but it's not easy to synchronize university and photography.

4.) ERROR_404 - No jackals found
Got permission from the local national park for camera trapping in highly protected area. Rangers called me that jackals are here again, so placed my trap deep in the forest where I found some tracks. Got buzzard, hares, roe deers, also a fox (one of my flashes died), but no jackals.

5.) 2018
These ones were taken in the near past. Still chasing jackals in 2018. :old
Got a stone marten, but fog is my biggest enemy, so here are some buzzard shots...

Fantastic shots! Did you do anything special to attract those owls to that perch? I look forward to more of your great shots.

Blessings........Pastorjim

Those are super cool! Love the narrow DOF on the first owl shot.

I would say that photo of the bittern is outstanding. The rest are a lot of fun too. Please share more.
