Hey all,

One of my SB-28s recently has been firing at full power regardless of what I set the flash to (so for example if I set the flash to be 1/64, it will still fire as if it was set to 1/1). In addition to visually confirming this, the flash also sounds as if its on full power. The flash is set on manual, I've tried replacing the batteries and also pulling them while the unit is on to give a hard reset but no luck. I'm using the Amazon NiMH 1.2V batteries. Any ideas / experience with this?

Thanks all,

Thanks Denis, I figured as much, but wanted to be sure. Oh well, part of the hobby
