Just wanted to share this way of feeding external power to the Yongnuo RF603N II.

I simply soldered new wires to the 9v block battery style plug with what we in Denmark call “crocodile jaws” in the other end.

The jaws then simply grip the springs inside the radio transceiver battery compartment.

This way there is no need to fabricate the dummy AAA batteries.

I am still considering modifying the lids with slids to allow for their deployment over the cables.

Are those rechargeable "C" cells? I don't believe I have seen that battery before.

Nope! They are actually D size. They are branded "enesense". I believe they are made by Panasonic/Sanyo like the eneloop.
