Here is the latest development on the wolves recolonizing California.

They've moved as far south as Plumas County, which is right next door to Butte County, where yours truly lives. Lassen National Park is a circuitous 1.5 hrs away -- but much closer as the crow flies.

Wow, that's great news, hope they do well. How long before the Codger puts a camera trap out to try for them in case they wander your way?

I usually leave cams in Plumas County over winter. Wolf is on the bucket list.

You'll get em, you deserve it.
Once them doggies here the codger is cameratrapping in the area. They'll come running to get in front of your cams :)
