With some effort I managed to post this successfully (well on my end anyway, let me know if you can't see it please). Please click on the embedded video and change the setting to HD 1080 to view in High Definition.

Ok, these birds are White Winged Choughs an Australian native, they live in a flock at all times of the year and community nest build a huge mud nest and share nesting duties, an extremely social bird, a nightmare if you are trying to stalk a deer. You think squirrels are bad lol :rofll So these birds are making a nuisance of themselves as they are destroying a Satin Bower Bird's bower. The Satin Bower Bird builds a bower which is made of sticks which the male pokes into the ground to form an arch which entices the female, if she likes him they breed in the bower, BUT build a regular stick nest 100 feet up in a tall tree. The Choughs in this video clip have discovered my camera (which was secretly filming the bower birds building the bower the day before), they are protesting at the presence of the camera. Turn your volume right up and enjoy one of the many sounds of the beautiful Aussie bush.

Pretty good video there Trev and you're right about them being noisy. We have a comparable bird up that makes a heck of a loud fuss when they spot you. It's called a Steller's Jay.

I am disappointed Daryl as I didn't realize that the video and audio dropped off so much when uploaded :pullhare . The original is so much better. Ya can't win them all lol

Cool video, Trevor. You have some pretty wild and noisy birds down under.
