I have a buddy setting up a solar panel for one of his commercial cameras. He still runs a few commercial cams. Anyways where can a person find one of these batteries and what are they worth. Any ideas or pointers on this subject ....

Also make sure the solar charger has a diode in it to prevent it from draining the battery at night. Most do especially if the charger is made for a feeder or camera.

Good advice John, do you use their Apex brand? I notice they also have the Powersonic and Universal brands which I have used both and was wondering if the Apex brand last as long. Also what size terminals do you get I see they have either .187 or .25 tabs. Thanks Danno.

I do buy the Apex brand, never noticed the different sized terminals when I order. I would go with the smaller ones if you have a choice.

I have been using this charger recently. It does 6 or 12 volt. I noticed my batteries weren't lasting as long so I decided to try this it out. It takes longer, day and half if the battery is really low but I'm getting at least 50% more run time from my batteries now. It has an inline fuse and I suggest you get a few to keep on hand. It doesn't take but a split second to blow the fuse if you hook the pos and neg up backwards. :bag Red light glows when the battery is really low, yellow for about half way charged and green light when it's completely charged.
