A great way of making a statement with pictures is by means of collaging. Side by side comparisons, frequency, variety, reactions is just a few of the ways to use picture collaging. Here is an assortment of examples that I put together for my slide presentations. I make both texted and non-texted versions of each collage for my present and future needs.

What editing software are you using for your collages? I've used Picasa and PhotoScape to do some -- takes time to, but sure is worth the effort for some occassions.

You are only limited by your imagination as to what you can convey to your viewers with collaging. I typically display my images in a 16:9 aspect ratio to fit wide screens. My game cams are set to take 4:3 aspect ratio. So prior to making a collage of 16:9 display ratio, such as the one that I have posted. I have to change the original image to fit into the collage. Here are the ratios that I use and I should add. If you plan on post editing your images, it's best to do that after you change the aspect ratio of the picture.

Here are the changes I make to each picture prior to making a 16:9 collage.
2 pic collage - 3:4 aspect ratio
3 pic collage - 2:3 aspect ratio
4 pic collage - 16:9 aspect ratio
6 pic collage - 1:1 aspect ratio
8 pic collage - 3:4 aspect ratio
Anything above an 8 pic collage, I use a 1:1 or 3:4 aspect ratio. The higher the number of images in the collage, the less importance the aspect ratio I find.

I like it. A 4 to 8 picture sequence of a buck at a scrape would be super done up this way. Gonna have to look into this. Thanks Gary

Hey, you guys are welcome.

If anybody wants the details on what programs and or a step by step guide on how to go about the whole process. Drop me a PM and I will guide you through everything step by step. It's very easy really and can be quite useful in some applications for showing your pictures to others.
