Just wondering if anyone here bow hunts whitetails? It will be my first sit tomorrow, hoping they are on their feet. Anybody been out?

My son and I have been out a few times this year, haven't connected though. We are planning on going this afternoon. Good luck to you Bones.

I have only been out once here in Maine so far this season. IDK where all the time goes? I can remember back when I never used to miss a day I didn't take a stand in the morning or afternoon.
I go to Illinois every fall and this year I am going a few weeks later to take part in the shotgun/muzzleloader season after 5 days of archery.

Good luck to all

Man, I just had this coyote at 20 yards, I thought it was a grey fox at first, and by the time I realized it was a yote, he was gone.. not a deer yet this morning. Talking 64 degrees here today, not good.

And then this happened yesterday. My cell cam hangs off a tree right in front of the tree that I was sitting in. This squirrel thought he would check it out to see if everything is working ok... Lol

I only made it out once in the bow season. The gun season doesn't open til November 21 but I will be hunting with the bow then.

I had 4 flat tops under my stand Sat. evening. I am heading to Illinois in early Nov.

Been hunting the last few Saturday evenings. Last Sat. seen around 30 deer, not even a single buck.

Took this pic last night with my phone, a young buck hitting my mock scrape, about an hour before dark, it's starting to pick up.

Great mock scrape, I was thinking of trying that with the rope. Have you been doing that long?
