Be aware that in the video tutorial I made a mistake when referring to the video button power and power common locations, the wiring is opposite of what I stated in the video.
Video common is on the bottom left and video positive is on the bottom right.

Aside from the Sony s600 camera for it's quality, I find this camera to be equally as valuable because of the video option offered. I've found yet another camera to put on my bucket list. Excellent job on documenting the hack! One question though. Have you tried omitting the three commons, and instead used the external common in place of them? Curious if it will respond favorably.

I did try that but unfortunately, each button has its own common and will not work using the battery common.
