Put together a video build using an Olympus VG-140 camera. The hack wasn't too bad, the camera's inexpensive and it looks like the camera's internal battery and six AAs as externals will be enough to fill a 32gb card with videos. Here are the results of a test set (unfortunately one had drops of water on the lens glass) --
