Hey Everyone,

I'm just stepping into this awesome and interesting world of camera traps and can't wait to learn and share here. I currently live in Terrace, BC and have just finished my first DSLR camera trap. I impulsively purchased a phototrap model 33 trigger about 5 years ago and am finally putting it to use. I have the trigger hooked up to a Canon 40D with a Canon 18-55mm lens and 2 nikon sb-28 flashes, which is currently set up on an active wolf trail. I've attached the only shot it's produced so far but I'm hopeful it'll be a keeper if the wolf walks in the correct direction.

Anyways, it's great to meet all of you!

Brandon

Welcome on board. You live in great wildlife country, and we look forward to seeing more of your photos. If that wolf is one of your first attempts, you've gotten off to a good start.

Brandon, nice to see you here on the forum and your shot is a good indication that your set and cam are just waiting for one to come the other way...if not, you might have to flip it the other way...over here in Thailand, tigers usually make a big loop and come back the same way, month after month...! not sure how wolves work an area...! Best of luck and look forward to seeing more from Canada...!!

Good to see you made it over here, Brandon. Go get a killer wolf image and then your next task will be cam trapping a spirit bear!
