No feathers on the arrow which leads me to believe the arrow has been there for several years.
Must be very very uncomfortable when he sleeps on that side.

Other than the arrow sticking into his spine, he seems fine. Shows up at my antler trap every night munching on cranberries and corn.

They really are tough critters. Never got a photo of her, but years ago I saw a doe several times that had an arrow through her head. It stuck out about equally on both sides and she survived for quite a while until a game warden put her down.
