Are we going to go forward with hacking the FP8K or are we moving on?

Based on the voting I think we might try hacking it, but Joe is just gonna try a couple things yet to see if it does or doesn't have night focus issues.

Charels said he will try the hack...and it might be a good idea to send it to him anyway for the final decision with all his Panasonic knowledge.

So that's where it's at right now. :pict

With the purchase of a WX1, the donation fund as of Sept 3 is $175. The WX1 was purchases a while back and was shipped to Joe. Once Joe got it he shipped it to me, and is still en-route. I'll let you all know when it arrives.

Research fund updated again...

Buckshot164 put in about $67 bucks parts/materials into the Panasonic FP8 build, but only wanted to be compensated for $50...the rest was a donation! Thanks Charles!

So the fund was back down to $300

Then thanks to Cliff and his knife auction and the payment from bhearn for $25 for one of Cliff's knives we are back up to $325

Just added $50 or maybe $48 after fees. This was for the leftover peanuts from the before and after contest.

Any plans on a new project?

Thanks Dan got it!

We'll probably continue on with the research, and new projects once we finish with the WX1...stay tuned! :awesome
