Since these cameras have potential (IMO) and will appeal to various camtrappers in different ways...plus the fact that it has been so long since we've done any research and development, and have the funds to afford it...I placed a third option in the voting poll to give both cameras a try. So please vote accordingly!

I edited the original post to add an option for both cameras. I realize there were some votes that came in before this, and i appears that in doing so the votes have been canceled. So if you already voted please submit again.

THX

Last day to vote! It's looking pretty one sided so far, but you have until about 3 today to get them in!

Looks like its unanimous...we will give both cameras a try. I will start looking at purchasing them. Still looking for some volunteers to test/hack...

Good News...I was able to purchase a Canon S95 for under $100. Bad news...I accidentally bid on and won one I didn't want. I was flipping back and fourth between very similar ads, and bid on one that has some cosmetic flaws. My hope was to get one in good shape for between $100-$140. The one I won is supposed to work fine but has some scuffs and scratches on the body. Just in case I purchased it with my own money and if it turns out that it's a lemon, I'll take the hit and buy another one with the research funds.

Sorry guys

I couldn't figure out how to vote today. I'd vote for both if it isn't too late.
