this would be great for us new guys with the price of p41s.we could us any camera that could be hacked,. may not be a trail cam but would make a feeder cam.

Has anyone tried on of the newer PicAxe 08M2 parts? It has 10 times the memory. What wonders could be put in to a trail camera with that memory.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a night time only ss code for security purposes on a family members house that's being built. Seems as if a bunch of tools have been missing and some vandalism the past couple nights

sparkfun says they are selling the 08M2. I wonder how much extra current draw the added memory brings? I like the idea of being able to have 10 times the programming space. What fun we could have with that.

The one thing that I like even more is being able to use the serial in pin as an input now. So now we have an extra pin to use. I may have to get a couple and try it on the SSII. Hmmmmm

I ordered 5 for my projects. I am also playing with a TI microcontroller that looks promising for ultra low power.
