I started to mess with different timings on the W1 yesturday morning trying to get it to miss a shutter and I finally got it to do so. I went outside after that to work on my shed so I'll have to get back on it to see why it missed the shutter on my last test. So now I know your not crazy... :P

I have done some more testing and it appears that the camera works perfectly in low light or total dark. It has not missed a shutter yet in total darkness. But when there is light, the first picture in trail mode will not shutter. I don't know why it's doing that? But that is what it's doing.

That sure does sound strange doesnt it, but I'll do some testing in lighting situations too.

It is not the W1. I hacked a p41 and hooked it to the board with the same code and it did not work right either. However I hooked and s40 to the same board and used an s40 code and it works
Perfectly. I have another AIO board that is running a W290. I used that board with my W1 and it would not work right either. I can't get either board to run a w1 or a p41 but they will
Run a w290????????

I think I may have found the glitch..... Check this part of the code in the beginning and make sure PinC.7 is set to input and not output

Code:
Input PT_IN
Output CDS_Out
Output Flash_Out
Output Flash_Charge
Output PT_Out
Output Spare_Out
Output Battery_Monitor
Input LDR_IN
Output Shutter_Out
Output Power_Out
Output LED_Out
Input PIR_In
Input C.7
Output C.0
Output B.7
Output A.0

What about C.0?? Input or output. I was looking at other codes and it showed it as input but the revised code you sent me it is output?

The code I sent you only reads pinC.7 for feeder/trail mode so you would want C.0 as an output. I found this thismorning when I was working on changing a code on another cam. I was getting very irratic behavior. Missing pics 90% of the time on the first shot or in feeder mode. Once I changed it to an input all was fine with this cam I'm working on.
