How do the footprints of these two boards compare? I'm considering installing the CG Micro into a build that already has a PIR lens for the SSII board gooped into place. Is it possible without modification? Or should I opt, instead, to simply install the SSII. I'd really like to install the CG Micro to avoid having to pick up a control module for the fast hacked s40 I plan to install into the build. Thanks for any/all info in advance!

As long as there is room in your case, you can just swap it out. The CG Micro is larger than the SS2. It's similar in size to the old Pixcontroller LE board.

Does it screw to the pir lense same as the SSII? Also, do you know the dimensions of both boards?

The enclosure has a 3d camo finish, and I hate to mess that up for a board swap ... ;-)

If I knew the dimensions of the CG Micro board I could measure to be sure it will fit prior to ordering. The enclose has a pipe through to contend with, so that makes me a bit nervous about this particular board swap ... ;-)

Can you get a measurement on the width of the two boards? That would help tremendously!

I spoke with you previously, JDH, about a fast hack board for the s40 w/SSII. The camera is hacked, and ready for installation. Still possible to get ya to put together the board? I may opt for the SSII to avoid altering this build. It looks too good to mess with ... :-D
