The optos that I was using aren't available anymore but I have some different ones. Might have to change some wiring on the add-on board but that should be pretty simple.

The CritterGetter has a mounting bracket similar to the one for the Bigfoot; the bracket can be Gooped to the case, but I've bolted through the case into the standoffs on mine. I'm not sure if the bolts in the HPWA would interfere with the CritterGetter. Looking at the photo of your build, the hole for the Fresnel may be too close to the pipethrough tube to allow the CritterGetter to be put in the build. A CritterGetter bracket I've got is 1 9/32" by 2 7/8" and the HPWA hole is centered.

Based on your measurements of the CG Micro bracket, Woody, it appears I'd have room (though it would be a tight fit). I suppose the dremel could make quick work of the mounting brackets inside the SSII HPWA Fresnel. Question is, do you think the fresnel will work correctly with the CG Micro board? I see no reason it wouldn't. Do you?

I dunno man...I don't think you are going to have room there. I think the top of the CG is going to hit that SS pipe. I wonder if you flip the Fresnal and CG upside down maybe?

The HPWA should work just fine if the board fits in the build. I'd try it with the SS II metal ring in place before trying to take it out, it might be OK. You could try making a mockup of the CG mounting bracket out of some stiff plastic (any stiff flat plastic from a scrap bottle or jar would work), the bolt holes are in the corners with just enough plastic margin to hold the bolts; the CG uses 3/8 standoffs. You should also be able to make a fake board out of plastic without too much trouble and see if it would fit in your build.

For future reference, on the SSII site I have a template on the SSII page that also includes dimensions.

Thanks ghoot! I decided I'd order the CG Micro w/"fast hack" for this build. Figured if it didn't work, I could always use it in my next s600 build ... ;-) ... Thanks for the help guys! Much appreciated.
