I think this was explored by FIREMANJIM or Pred? Curious, after you've had some time to play around with it now, what is your final conclusion? Would you consider the "tried-n-true" PT sensor method, or stick to RF from now on instead?

I'm thinking of building another camera, and considering all my options for future builds. A big part of me wants to incorporate a baby slave into my builds (which I fully intend to do), but the option to deploy additional external slaves into a set is something I'd really enjoy also. Were you ever able to incorporate a baby slave into a build, and also include an RF option for deploying additional external flashes into the set as needed?

I would never build a external slave flash now using the old PT method. The RF costs less than $25.00 to do and it works out to around 100 feet.

As I recall, Jim, you once had a "how to". Can you provide a link? Think I'll give it a shot.

What make/model wireless flash trigger is being used in your "how to"?

I don't recommend buying these from Ebay simply due to all the "fakes" out there...I buy mine from Cowboy Studio Direct

You will also need a slave flash controller to go inside the camera box. Any of Ralph's boards or my boards will work. The key fob transmitter will hook to the Trigger Outputs from the Slave Flash Controller. You will also need some type of Day/Night Switch to go inside the remote slave flash box. I have a Day/Night Switch that was designed specifically for this ...It can be found on my website.

Thanks! You sent me some day/night circuit boards a while back. I'm gonna give it a shot, I think. I have a slave blaster control board on hand ... ;-)
