This build is a Panny fp8 with all RC Davis controls and mount and a Viv 2600 slave for the flash.Case is a Pelican 1060 with a rope seal. 3AAs for externals...3 AAAs for board power and 4 C cells to keep that 2600 charged up. Initial testing has been real promising and pics will follow.

nice job! looks like you ran your power wires out of one side of the case and back in the other side., hows that working out?

So far..so good. The rubber hose I used for conduit is a bit stiff though and I can't quite open the case the whole way,but thats no big deal.

That's sure a neat and tidy looking build, good job. I'm curious as to why you drilled through both covers and put in a conduit rather than running the wires inside over the seal? Have you had problems with pinched wires when closing the cover in the past?

Honestly ... most of the wiring problems I have had have been from wires crossing across the case....and I just like trying something different also. Lol
