I found a dead fawn covered with 4 or 5 inches of leaves over it.(All but part of its head) I believed it was bob cat kill. I put a homebrew s600 on it to see what claimed it.Several deer came by in the next day or two. June 11 a buck walked past the camera and it looked like the dead fawn was gone. 6/12 A bear cub walked by in the morning and the dead fawn was gone for sure.June 16 a bobcat passed behine where the fawn had been.
Any ideas how the fawn was gone with out any pictures on the camera ?

You're probably right about it being a bobcat kill. Check my blog post about a dead fawn where I'd put a camera trap to check on the body's fate -- https://forestandfield.blogspot.com/201 ... -fawn.html

That post may give you an idea about what may have happened. Take a really good look at the photos of the other deer, you may discover something interesting.
