I have a couple here, first one the Darn thing acts good..... will snap pictures right and left by using the hack.
But when I put it into a build I have with the old sniper board, it lights up like it wants to flash ..but no go.I am thinking I have a P32 board and the timing may be off.

now the second one I hacked and it will not come on unless I use the hack,, and the flash works good ..but it will not turn off.It may turn off in a build ..don't know.
I am going over some of these builds and fixing a bunch of old homebrews I have laying around.
I don't know why but the bug hit me again..I have a few pictures in the homebrew pic. under Darton man.Any help would be appreciated.

1st one sounds like board needs to be programmed to the s40 settings

2nd one sounds like your power wire on the hack might be bridged to the next solder spot along with the power spot

If it's not the timing on the first one make sure the lens isn't hitting the glass inside the case when it extends.

I have 10 s40s that have been laying in my tub waiting to be hacked . And a few P32 and L11 ..P52's and J10

I got one of them working like a champ ...I just reflowed the power wire.

And the other one ...I had the wrong board connected to it .The timing was just not right.
