Here is a late season set to target whitetail deer. This is on a new piece of property so I hoping to use this set to inventory the herd, plus capture a few nice images along the way. The cam is placed along a well used travel corridor that forms a pinch point with the drainage ditch to the east. There is also a nice trail coming up out of the ditch, perpendicular to the camera trap. This should catch critters with a unique perspective. I'm also hoping the sunrise to the east each morning should prove to be a nice backdrop if I'm lucky enough to catch the sun shining through the clouds. Bright mornings may cause some glare, but heck you win some and you lose some pics along the way.

This camera is converted to infrared, so I'm very excited to get the first round of images off the card at this location. I play with many infrared sets, and the infrared wavelength can make the ordinary extraordinary with correct camera placement. Wish me luck.

Looks promising -- can't wait to see some pics!

And agreed -- that Forest Ghost camo looks great.
