I took my 2.5 year old son out with me to set up some cams at a sharp tailed grouse lek this weekend. Loaded my pack with 2 point n shoots, 2 slave flashes, 1 SLR and 1 Nikon sb28...then all the camera stands, stakes and all the other odds n ends required for setup. Good thing my boy cooper was bound and determined to walk the whole way on his own...because I'm not sure I could have carried him!

My plan is to leave these here a week or so then take them down so the birds can get back to their own business and have a bit more privacy.

That's just great in so many ways.

Cute little guy -- can't say the same about the bearded one. Seriously, it's good to see a little one in the outdoors and enjoying himself.

It must be so quiet and peaceful there with nothing but the wind blowing across the prairie grasses. Punctuated with the sounds of Dad and Son bonding. Really great stuff Jeremi, life looks good.
