This set started out to be a video set , but the camera & case I took has a 250 MM lens on it . The idea was to shoot video from across the pond just to see if I could do it ? After I got all set up & it would not start the video I realized that case was not yet modified to run video from the remote safari based unit . Well it will run the stills fine , so back to the house for flash units to replace the RF array units & I am in business for stills . In the first pic from the cam position you can see a red coffee container at the target area about 90 ft. away , in the second pic at the target site you can see the SS 11 based trigger , above that is the lucky duck bait , & out in the water two tube flashes . All the transmitters & receivers are Pixel pawn's & Pixel optimist remote trigger .

Well on first attempt at this set the gear worked fine but I messed up ! When I focused the camera I never taped the focus ring , I had 770 pics all out of focus I must have bumped the focus ring putting the cam back in the case . The 5AH SLA flash batteries died around 600 full power pops the best I could tell . I had many coon , small beaver , opossum , deer & birds in the day . This time I changed things up I put my two Lion flashes in the tubes this time set at full power manual I should see how long they last with all that activity ? I had to add another box at the camera to house the TX transmitter to controll the Lion flashes . From the camera I have full controll of flash functions power , mode , on & off ect. Thats nice when the flash are out in the water !
In the pic you will see the camera on bottom , then the remote Safari controller & on top the box holding the Yongnuo TX flash controller . In my newer builds the TX fits on the cam shoe in the camera case . This older build has a SSS LCD controller in the case . I like both boards each has there own place where they shine .
