Usually water sets are pretty safe in the fall as levels are fairly constant or even decrease....but not always I guess...

I think so but some water may have got in so threw it in a bag of rice to be safe.

good clean rope seals (use a tooth brush to take any residue off) is the trick I use...hope the cam survives...if not, back to square one...!!! Was that the stream you tried to monkey jump...?

I almost did land in the middle on the way back across...

I haven't personally checked this cam yet, it was my dad who found it like this last week. He said it took some great pics though so I'm excited to see them!
