I tested out my new build attempting to capture some images of Coastal Wolves on the West Coast of British Columbia.
I was able to get two good images after placing the trap near an opening at the woods where I knew the wolves passed on their way to the beach to forage.

Nikon D7100 housed in modified Pelican case.
3 wireless SB-28 flashes housed in PVC tubes.
Cognysis Sabre trigger.

Beautiful, just stunning and no moisture on the lens. Hopefully, we can all be treated to seeing pics of the Wolves feeding during the Salmon spawn :luck

Thanks everyone,
It felt good to build a trap and get some decent results. It's one thing to practice with the dogs at home and another to set up out in the field. I was happy to see my settings worked in daylight as well as night (in the rain). Can't wait to get some more images.

Outstanding images of the coastal wolf. I can hardly wait to see more posts to learn more about these wolves and their unique niche.
