Back in Dec/15, I got a few pics of a Cougar with her spotted cub. The year following, more pics came in but mostly of the lone cub. Yesterday, on my hike up to these sets. I came across dozens of Cougar scratch piles and several with scat on top of them. I knew that my chances of getting some cat pics were pretty good.

Here are a few pics from that time period to present. The first pic of the spotted cub taken back on Dec/15 and finally from a week ago. This male would now be about 2 years old in the recent pics.
Where the resident male is who lays claim to this territory is a mystery.

That's a great sequence. It's always cool to be able to chronicle events in the wild on an ongoing basis.
