The foliage is mostly low bush blueberries and mountain laurel which should be in full bloom this week

Those of you who don't have to walk through that lowbush blueberry/black huckleberry/mountain laurel understory (hiding an occassional timber rattlesnake) have no idea what a treat you're missing. :laughing Right John?

You got that right Woody.. I generally wear snake boots and or chaps this time of the year.

The critters are actually walking a path which gives you an idea of the size of the cubs.
