The last set of pics is from a set that I've dubbed, the mud puddle set. Unassuming to look at but boy oh boy, I think that this set will do well over time. The Wolf exits onto a heavily covered game trail that T-bones into this set.

Really good ones there. Love to see the wolves, and also love that elk pic.

Thanks everyone,
The Elk pic was taken with my only Panasonic cam, an FX700. The Elk were only 2 mins walk down the old trail from where the Wolf was. A week earlier a very large Tom Cougar walked out of the forest, across the mud where that Wolf is and exited exactly where the Wolf is seen leaving the frame. I checked to see where these two top predators were going and found an old but obviously still used Elk trail. It's so well hidden from this road that if it wasn't for them showing me where it was. I would have never have found it. I didn't get any pics of the Cougar that time but I did get two decent casts of its tracks, taken from this very same mud puddle.

Here is a pic of that Cougars right paw and of another Wolfs front left paw shown as a comparison.
