Those are great shots. I really like the third image: that wide cat muzzle is what (to me) what a cougar face should look like.

Gotta agree he is a handsome looking beast.

These first two pics were taken 19 months apart and around 4 km. of each other. I do know that the cat in the first pic is around 8 months old. Today he would be about 27 months old. The third picture was taken last spring, 10 mins. North of the cat in the snow picture. He is a male and has the muscle structure and battle scarring befitting of a mature cougar. Very little doubt in my mind that he is the resident male of this territory. There may very well be a strong family connection between the three of them.
