1/2 hours hike from my front door and taken 1.5 weeks apart. There's plenty of Deer around and with the presence of these top two apex predators captured this close together. Well, I couldn't be happier.

The mountain lions you have in your area are much larger than what I see, on average, in Colorado. Great captures. Let's hear it for Apex predators!

Great catches, You're fortunate to have them both in your area.

Thanks,

David and Brad, yes, the three of us are so fortunate to live in an area where these magnificent animals still roam freely.

This cam is a W200 and I had it set to +.03 0 -.03 BRACKETING which by default deactivates the flash function. The beauty of that setting is that you get 3 times more pictures of varying lighting which can be post-edited later. Motion blur, dark images and poorer picture quality are some of the likely trade-offs though. Here are three more images captured in succession as he approaches the cam. This Wolf pic was one of only 3 that I could salvage because of the poor lighting and that particular setting.
