Black bears examine potential dens before choosing a place to spend the winter, this cave was apparently deemed unsuitable and hasn't been used as a densite this winter (checked the cameras again this week and the cave was empty). The entrance is probably too large, all the active dens I've seen had entrances just barely large enough to admit the bear and the entrance to this cave is much larger than any of those.
