This is the same lion that attacked and ate the mule deer doe last Wednesday. He looks well fed!

Thanks for the comments. I like how his black claws show up in that sunlight. What luck that he paused right before the shade. Pinching myself.

Note the horizontal slash on the inside of the lion's front right leg. This indicates he's probably less than three years old. Many of the lions I've captured with my cameras do not have this slash mark after 2.5 years.
