I can't remember if I posted this clip before. I am putting together an hour presentation for a local organization and decided to include this clip. If you have trouble viewing it, point your browser to: vimeo.com/offthepavement

I don't see anything posted but if I copy and paste that address, it takes me to it.
Absolutely stellar footage David. You're dedication and hard work is really paying dividends for you.

I'm sorry you aren't seeing the clip. Anybody else having trouble? I'm able to see it.

Thanks for your comments. I'm honored to have the time, health and passion to capture footage.

Great video and the vocalizations add to it. You surely do have the big cats dialed in.

Thanks for the comments. I prefer wild footage of wild animals. I'll set up on a fresh deer or elk killed by a mountain lion but those are rare finds. The best natural lure for me is limited water.

A few years ago I decided not to use any audio, scent or visual lures. Most of the time they didn't help anyway and I wasn't happy with the footage I was capturing when they did work. I only wanted natural, completely wild footage of these animals or nothing at all. I wasn't sure how successful I'd be. Now I realize that I'm much more successful without using lures. Forcing myself to learn a lot more about the habits and habitat of each species proved much more beneficial than using an artificial lure.

I focus on four factors (wind direction, topographic pinch points, edges and limited water). It's like looking through a single lens with four filters every time I go out. Whether I capture any footage or not, I'm finding the experience is so much richer than it was before.

I know this approach isn't for everyone. I just wanted to share what's working for me. On average I'm capturing mountain lion footage every 3-4 days.

I got Vimeo now set up on my Android box. Just watched this video of yours on a full 55” screen. Impressive David. Played a pile more as well... pretty cool!

As stated before i can't see it here but i just go to Vimeo to watch it and thanks again for putting the newest at the top. Also enjoyed the wolves at the moose kill which I would have missed if I didn't need to go to Vimeo.
