Thanks for the comments. Truth be told, I had over 500 videos of wind footage and non-wildlife IR triggers. This was the only lion clip from my hike on Saturday. But slowly, with persistence, I'm learning more about mountain lions each time out. There are so many lions in this area and I'm now seeing many more juveniles. The breeding cycle may be more successful now than in the past. Or, I'm just getting more footage based on camera placement and luck.
I'm holding another presentation and discussion on May 11th in Loveland, Colorado, followed by a hike the next day at Red Mountain Open Space. I'm covering the four factors that I focus on to capture weekly footage of mountain lions, completely wild lions, without the use of any scent, audio or visual lures. The presentation/discussion Friday night will be from 7-8:30 p.m. at the High Plains Environmental Center. It was well attended in early January and I've made several changes based on some great feedback.
This time I have people showing up from Florida and Denmark. That's humbling. Here's the link if you'd like to share it with anyone.
