I haven't been camtrapping lately....I had pretty much given up on this area in Washington. Just too much work for too few pictures. And the places that are accessible to a 60 year old guy get too much human activity. Anyway, I put this one out in early August. Meant to get it in after firearms deer season ended in October, but it snowed early and I couldn't make it up there. (Cam was at 6500' in the mountains). Finally got there yesterday. I just about didn't load the pics off of the card, because when I flipped through them on the cam's viewer, I didn't see anything worth saving....hikers, does, false triggers, etc. and one weird picture on snow at night. Lucky I did take a closer look, because the wierd snow pic was this wolverine! Not the greatest pic, but still a very cool capture I think. Plain dumb luck! Taken on Dec 6th, almost 4 months to the day since I put this cam out. Impressive life out of 6 Nicad batteries in an S600.

That's a great catch. Gulo is such a snow-adaped species so it stands to reason that it's a winter photo. Keep up the good work.

Nice job. Thanks. I didn't really have time to fiddle with it.

Great capture. West of the rockies I would think you are close to the southern extent of their distribution? I've live not far north of you my entire life, spent a lot of time outdoors and have only seen ONE in the southern part of the province.
