Interesting, l have hunted moose a few times albiet the closest ones are some 15,000 klm away lol and whilst l have heard a cow make that sound, never heard a bull make any sound other than grunts during the rut. The first bull still in velvet, is he late or is the video from a couple of months ago? That gopro stuff is very clear - even on Vimeo lol, is that a 4k camera? Also those bulls apear to be really close to the camera given that the norm with gopro's is everything looks so far away.

That was from about a month ago. I just checked the GoPro there now. It is a hero 2 and those are not 4K. But I am so so impressed with them. Easy to hack and so reliable. Fit nicely into a 1060 case. I am also presuming will work in colder conditions of Saskatchewan. I tested them last winter and they worked great. If you like building they are a outstanding. If you don’t like building you can buy commercial cams as others on here are doing.

Awesome shots, I assume you have an external mic to pick up such great audio? Keep up the great work!

Correct .. the mic is external and it is routed out the bottom of the 1060 pelican case.

Maybe you could post a pic of the inside and outside of the build for us to see what you did :)

When I don’t wanna use the flood lights I set them to day only on Ralph’s board and unplug the lights and leave them at home. These GoPro’s are so easy. Little work horses. It’s the settings that make the difference with them.

I know that you have posted these before but for the benefit of those members who missed the post, it was worth reposting. Very innovative builds and time well spent judging by the results you're getting.

Thanks for sharing,
