I know that you have posted these before but for the benefit of those members who missed the post, it was worth reposting. Very innovative builds and time well spent judging by the results you're getting.

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks Gary .... they work so nice. But they only do videos day and night if you so choose to use the lights or not use the lights. Whereas I also have SZ1, SZ7 and SZ02 (all same hacks and batteries for all the cameras) that are DVNS (day video night stills) that take videos in day and still pictures at night. Boy its mind boggling the options we have huh?

No worries ask away ............ Safari SMT control baord with a Mofset backpacker of Ralphs is the control board used for the GoPro builds. The loop is a U-bolt like you said and I add them to all my cases and builds and use a bow hanger or bow hooks that bow hunters use and the screw into the tree an then slide the cam case onto the hook and through the U-bolt.

Ah yes, the lonely love song of the bull moose in rut. What lovesick cow could resist?

Hey Daryl, have you found the bulls' pee-pits? The females are said to be drawn to them like magnets.

Can you explain what these are Chris? I came across something in the bush on my last outing. I remembered seeing what looked like where the moose were laying last year in thick bush so I went there the other day to same spot and it looks like moose or something pawed the ground and then laid there. I set a cam there and left. I thought it was moose last year and I still think it is moose this year. We will see I guess? Lol

Daryl, Sounds like you might be on it. A friend of mine studied scent communication in Alaskan moose (I'll try to find the paper), but in summary the males paw a depression in the soil and urinate in it, and return periodically to refresh the scent. Cows visit and the sites where they lounge around waiting for the bull.
