Finally got a decent pic of this bear. We have no bears where I live in central Saskatchewan Canada but there have been a few sightings from spring til now off and on. He/she has not damaged any cams but toys with them constantly by mucking them up and turning them. This is the first full shot. Panasonic SZ02 with baby slave built right in. September 23, 2018.

Congratulations on getting a bruin -- nice photos. Our bears usually just investigate the camera, smearing the lens and moving the camera -- but there are times ... All my cameras except the one in a Pelican 1060 are in steel boxes.

Congratulations buddy, I bet you couldn't believe what you were seeing when you first viewed those pics. Welcome to a whole new dimension of cameratrapping. You are no doubt a bit of a celebrity in your community now :rockongreat catch.

Come early next May, he could very well be back in this location. Maybe see if you can track or backtrack him. Try to determine its travel pattern if you can. Lots of fun ahead of you, good luck :awesome

Very nice portrait of the emigrant. Nothing like trail cameras as bear bait!

It's always great to capture something that is rare or previously non existent in an area. It will probably just wet your appetite for more.

I think you should place another camera or two in that area, that may be the Ghost you have been hunting for.
