ok I now have successfully uploaded an image of the internal. I shall grab the cam, its almost midnight on Sunday and its literally freezing out in the shop so I will make a quick dash and take a look at the pattern. Thanks for your time. Right i had a look it has no pattern at all it is just milk coloured white plastic.

You should be able to go to the Snapshot Sniper website and get the proper standoffs for the board and order yourself an HPWA fresnel lens. It won't make the camera trigger faster but it will widen your detection area and have the same effect as a faster shutter. It's not that you have the wrong standoffs on the board now but they will need to be changed for the HPWA lens.
