Hey guys trying to hack a s600 that the power button is completely gone. Can I solder to the ribbon cable for the power if so which strand do I solder to? thank guys.

You can, but I don't know which point. A guy named frozenyuper or something like that did it once. I read about it on Hags a couple years ago.

Those contacts on the ribbon cable are small and close together so watch out. I think you should still be able to solder to the contact point on the board where the button normally is.
