This is a newer 12mp camera I have been using alot lately. AWESOME camera. As fast as a P32 and takes wonderful pics. IR hack is super simple. For the IR Hack simply remove the LCD screen and you will see 3 small black screws holding down the sensor. Take out the three screws and lift it up with your exacto knife being very careful. Simply remove the small piece of glass and the small rubber gasket. DO NOT REINSTALL THE RUBBER GASKET!!! Focus will be off if you do. I have done about 35 builds with this camera and focus is perfect!!!!

Here is the external power hack points. Negative goes to the USB hood ground. Positive goes to a small copper dot under the capacitor. Check the dots with your test meter. Negative to USB hood and positive to the dots one at a time. When you got the right one it will read exactly the same as the battery voltage.

OK for the power you will have a power and a power common. Orange is Power COMMON and Brown is POWER

And for the shutter hack you will take out the 3 small screws to remove the shutter board. You will have a Shutter and a Shutter Common. White is SHUTTER COMMON and it MUST be soldered to both solder points on that side of the switch. Blue is SHUTTER
