Deployed my s600 with seperate flash today. Pretty excited about this set.
Here is the setup on a tree, target area is probably 12 feet away.

I see them as well now and like Gary said, write it down, lol. Keep posting please we like your cams and sets.
Tell me, (as I am fairly new to this) why the extra flash I thought the S600 had an excellent built in flash?

Yes they do have a great built in flash, and I'm still using the cameras flash, it's just removed and separated to another housing. One of the big reasons guys want the flash away from the camera, is to get away from "eye glare" from the animals. For some reason, when the flash is mounted to the camera, that's when you get bad eye glare, and takes away from the picture. I believe someone here said, the flash needs to be at least 18" away from the camera, to get away from eye glare.
